The Brazil-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCIBC) was founded in 1986 as a non-profit private institution with the goal of promoting cooperation in the business and cultural areas, at the personal suggestion of the former Vice-Premier and State Council Member Mr. Wu Xueqian. Based in São Paulo, and in 10 other cities in both countries, the chamber is devoted to strengthen the economic and social interactions between both countries.
Our Chamber is the only Brazil-China chamber legitimately recognized by the agreement that, since 1988, is maintained with CCPIT (China Council for Promotion of International Trade). Similarly, the Federation of International Chambers of Commerce, of the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry and the Council of International Chamber of Commerce recognizes CCIBC as the only Bilateral Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce.
Since its foundation, The Brazil-China Chamber has been an active promoter for the development of Sino-Brazilian cooperation. With the support of the business community and diplomatic agents, our work has had successful results which can be measured through our achievements and the numerous messages and praises gathered throughout the decades of hard work.
